St. Faustina Update - Palm Sunday and Holy Week
St. Faustina Weekly Update
Yesterday, Fort Bend County extended their “Stay-Home” Mandate until April 30th, which unfortunately means our parish will remain closed until further notice. However, we are still looking at ways to serve and support our parish family, especially with this weekend marking the beginning of Holy Week. Please read below to see the plans we have for the week, which includes the distribution of Palms on Saturday - allowing your family to watch our Palm Sunday livestream with palms in hand. We ask that you stay connected to our different social media channels to stay up to date with what we are doing at the parish.

Distribution of Palms - Saturday
Saturday Morning at 10: We will be livestreaming our Morning Prayer and the Blessing of Palms on our YouTube channel and encourage you to watch online. After that, you are invited to come to the church and pick up palms for your family via our drive through distribution between 11:00am-3:00pm. In order to coordinate a smooth and continuous flow while respecting social-distancing policies, we ask that you please stagger your arrival according to the first letter of your last name:
Last names between A and F - pick up palms from 11:00am to 12:00noon
Last names between G and N – pick up from 12:00noon until 1:00pm
Last names between O and R – pick up from 1:00pm until 2:00pm
Last names between S and Z pick up from 2:00pm until 3:00pm
On Palm Sunday, we will be livestreaming our Masses at 11:00am in English and 1:00pm in Spanish. As we commemorate Jesus' Triumphant entry into Jerusalem, we encourage your family to please use the palms you picked up on Saturday and join us in the celebration of Palm Sunday shouting “Hosanna” and “To the Son of David” during Father’s procession into Mass.
Reflection on Sunday's Readings
We all are called to love God and do the Father’s will, even when it is difficult. But love involves sacrifice—dying to self and making sacrifices for the one we love. We can use the example of Christ in the Garden to accept our crosses well. Enjoy this reflection through our free account with
